It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dr. Duncan Donald Macdonald announce his passing on Wednesday, June 8th, 2005 at his home in Deer Lake, 1 Young's Avenue. He was much loved and will be sadly missed by his wife Margaret, children: Avril (Todd), British Columbia; Donald (Michelle), Catalina; David, British Columbia, Stephen (Lizzie), Deer Lake; Malcolm, England; Lucinda, England. Grandchildren: Alexander, Brittany and Rosie, sisters: Olive and Jean, sisters and brothers-in-law: Lucy (Jack), New Mexico; Ruby (Theo, Reidville; Melvin (Mae), Deer Lake; Jessie (Douglas), St. John's; Cecilia (Maxwell), Donald (Betty), Wayne (Susan), Valdene (Eric) and Linda (Paul) all of Deer Lake. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Howard and Prim Macdonald, sisters Marcia and Nola. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake today Friday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 11th, 2005 at 2:00 PM from St. Michael's And All Angels Anglican Church with Rev. John Meade officiating. Interment to follow at The Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery, Wight's Road. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
