WATKINS Frances Ada August 1st 1938 – May 11th 2012 Deer Lake NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frances Watkins announce her passing on Friday, May 11th, 2012 at the Long Term Care Facility in Corner Brook at the age of 73. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 53 years Walter, daughters: Rose Marie (Carson) Young; Reidville, Roxanne (Dave Jenkins); Gander, grandchildren: Stephen, Stacey, Spencer, Jade, Matthew, Sarah, great granddaughter Olivia, brothers and sisters: Theodore (Ruby); Reidville, Clarence (Pauline);Reidville, Clayton (Sylvia);Edmonton, Eric (Minetta); Reidville, Shirley (Louie) MacDonald; Reidville, Doris (Don) White; Montreal. Herbert (Michelle); Edmonton, sisters and brothers in law:Phoebe Young; Deer Lake, Bob (Joan); Deer Lake, Doris (Art) Badcock; Bay Roberts, Joyce (Terry) Burridge; Deer Lake, Ross (Greta); Deer Lake, and special friends Joy Bailey and Amanda Tulk, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Herbert and Elsie Reid. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Saturday, May 12th between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9PM, the funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 13th at 2:30PM from St. Paul’s United Church in Deer Lake with Rev. Dr. Tony Newell officiating. Interment to follow at the United Cemetery, Wight’s Road. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the St Paul’s United Church Building and Maintenance Fund.
