It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alton Best, ONL announce his passing on Friday, May 11th, 2012 at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 77 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Ena; children: Maurice (Carol), Clarice (Jim), Yvonne (Kirby); grandchildren: Matthew, Nova (Jay), Jamie, Emily, Nathan, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Henry; mother Maude and all siblings. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. A Service of Remembrance to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, May 17th at 2:00 pm at the Pentecostal Church.
