COMPAGNON GEORGE ALBERT JOHN'S BEACH, NL October 3, 1915 - June 12, 2005 It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Compagnon announce his passing on Sunday, June 12th, 2005 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 89. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his family: Shirley Sheppard (Harold), Agnes Gallant, Irene Parsons (Ben), Roland “Bud” (Theresa), Sadie Pattimore (Don), Olive Davis (Edgar), Lillian Druggett (Aubrey), Linda Pynn (Wince), Faye Wheeler (Harold) and Joy Barnes (Glen); son-in-law: Joe Gallant; 26 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; sisters: Jean Wheeler and Rhodena Loder; brothers: Jack (Cecilia) and Eric, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Theresa (2000), three enfant children: George, Jean and Jeffrey; brothers: Fred, William, Harold and Roland; sisters: Mae Brake and Leona Parsons. Visitation will take place from St. Ambrose Church, John's Beach on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m., and Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m., from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 15th at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Nellie Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. Ambrose Church Fund.
