It is with great sadness that the family of the late Howard Mitchelmore announce his passing on May 21st, 2012 at the Labrador Health Center at the age of 73 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Rona; children: Lavenia (Gary), Clayton (Arlene), Stewart (Cathy), Perry (Sherrie), Brenda (Blake), Rhonda (Tim), Wanda (Dean), Sherry (Sandy),Christopher (Gail),Terry (Thersea), Jason (Amanda) & Pam; 22 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren; brothers: Baxter, Primus, Harvey & Truman; sisters: Sybil, Shirley, Inga, and Merona, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his first wife Mae, parents Leander and Minnie, and grandson Justin. Visitation will take place at Fillatres Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 24th at 2 p.m. from the Pentecostal Church Happy Valley Goose Bay. Interment will follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to a church of one's choice.
