It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Bernard Pygas announce his passing on Monday, June 13th, 2005 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 83 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 57 years Sylvia (nee Tulk), son Selby (Bev), Ontario; daughters Judith (Kenneth) and Susan (Reg) both of Deer Lake. Granddaughters: Tracey (David), Wabush and Wendy (Shannon), St. John's; great-grandchildren: Heather, Daniel, Sabriena and Chase. One sister Shirley (Eric) Chaulk, Gander, brothers-in-law Harold (Madeline) Tulk, Corner Brook; Laurie (Isabelle)) Tulk, USA and Leslie (Fran) Tulk, Corner Brook. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Mae and William, brother Joseph (Eleanor) Pygas and sister Joan (Jack) Forcey. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue, Corner Brook on Wednesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 16th at 2:00 PM from St. John The Evangelist Anglican Cathedral with Arch Bishop Stewart Payne officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to 4th floor Cancer Unit of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital.
