Margaret (Peggy) Snooks (nee Parsons) Mt. Moriah, NL March 9, 1956 - May 16, 2018 "Those we hold most dearly never truly leave us." It is with great sadness that the family of the late Peggy Snooks announce her sudden passing at her residence at the age of 62 years. She will be forever missed by her loving husband Clarence; treasured pet Bruno; brothers: John (Rebecca) Parsons and Jerry (Peggy) Parsons; brother-in-law Derek (MaryEllen) Snooks; sisters-in-law: Gertrude (Alex) McLean, Bernice Young, Melva Snooks, Mannie Murphy (Dennis); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews & friends. Predeceased by parents John & Julia Parsons, brother Samuel Parsons, parents-in-law Norman & Amelia Snooks, brothers-in-law Tom, Noble, Wallace & Robert Snooks, sister-in-law Lorena Daye. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Monday May 21 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 22 at 10:00 a.m. from All Hallows Parish, Humber Road with Father Edward Terry officiating. At Peggy’s request cremation has taken place with interment to be at a later date. As expressions of Sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the SPCA.
