It is with great sadness that the family of the late Calman Baggs announce his passing at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre on Friday, June 17th , 2005 at the age of 70. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his wife Ernestine (nee Gear) of 28 years; daughters: Sylvia Baggs, Halifax, NS, Kathryn Baggs, St. John's, NL; granddaughter Krista Baggs; brother James (Anne) Red Deer, AB; and three other siblings; as well, he will be sadly missed by a large circle of relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his parents James and Edith Baggs (nee Coley). Cremation took place from Humber Valley Crematorium. Memorial service was held at the Good Samaritan Seniors Club in Isle Aux Morts on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Vallis officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port aux Basques, NL. Donations in his memory may be made through the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Palliative Care Unit at your local Health Facility.
