PRIMUS ANTHONY MAHAR Port au Choix, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Primus Mahar announce his passing on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 66 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Millie; son Dixon; brothers: Jerry (Joanne), Aloysius (Bomi), Clary (Sharon), Gary (Michelle), Edward, Ken (Hope), Pete (Rose) and Mike (Diane); sisters: Sadie (Ken), Stella, Amelia (Jim) and Clarice (Vernon); special buddy Alfred Rumbolt; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Aloysius and Elsie Mahar, brother Bill and nephew Loman Jr. The family will be receiving friends at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port au Choix on Thursday and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, August 4 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Lee Lainey officiating. Interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port au Choix.
