Rachel Ellen House Daniel’s Harbour, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rachel House announce her passing on Friday, August 3rd, 2012 at the Bonne Bay Health Centre in Norris Point at the age of 91 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Ivy Payne (Calvin), Margaret Murphy (John), Sandy House (Geraldine) and Flora Hull (Eldrick); grandchildren: Ross Payne (Kay), Josephine Bennett (Brent), Calvin and Craig (Anne), Bradley Murphy (Michelle), Terri Lynn Antle (Peter), Jennifer Johnson (Jay), Christopher House (Sherry) and Sonya, Dion Hull (Kerri), Richard Hull (Patricia) and Wanda Hewlin (Quentin); great grandchildren: Monique, Julien, Patricia, Angie, Breanna, Brittany, Troy, Ashlee, Dayna, Sam, Alex, Ryan, Brett, Gavin, Sam, Max, Jalynn, Sophie, Makenna, Liam, Amy, Samatha, Jennifer, Jessica, Audrianna and Nicholas; great great grandchildren: Lucas and Ryleigh; brother: Sandy (Laverne); sisters: Margaret (Clarence), Olive and Winnie (John); brother-in-law: Ben Powell; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph; and sisters: Eliza, Effie and Bessie. Visitation will take place from Holy Cross Anglican Church, Daniel’s Harbour on Sunday and Monday from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 7th at 2:00 p.m. Bishop Leonard Whitten officiating followed by interment at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
