It is with heavy hearts that the family of the Late Richard Blanchard announce his passing on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 55 years. He leaves to mourn his wife of 21 years Colleen; children: Crystal (Jamie), Brandon (Sarah), Kaylene, Brayden (Chelsea); grandchildren: Shayanne, Rylan, Zachary, Denver, Parker, Trey; brothers: Larry (Naomi), Carroll (Bernadine), Keith (Ruth); sister Mary Blanchard; mother-in-law Rose Legge; brother-in-law Brent; sisters-in-law: Pam, Krista, Alicia; nieces & nephews: Lenny, Gizelle, Shane, Dustin, Tamara, Scott, Ashley, Cheryl, Victoria, Keagan, Ian, Nathon, Tyson, Cameron, T. J., Hope, Emma; great-nieces & nephews: Natalia, Abrea, Noelle, Marissa, Hunter, Broady; very good buddy of many years Melvin Bennett and a very large circle of family and friends. He was pre-deceased by his parents Bertha Venita & Cornelius Blanchard; brother-in-law Leonard Blanchard; nephews: Riley, Adam and father-in-law Pius Legge. Visitation will take place on Sunday, May 27 between the hours of 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. at St. Joseph's Parish, St. George's, NL from where the Funeral will take place on Monday, May 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Edmund Dantes officiating. Inurnment will take place following the service in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Shallop Cove, NL. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of ones’ choice.
