It is with great sadness that the family of the late Kevin Power announce his passing on Monday, September 3rd, 2012 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care home at the age of 71 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Sheila (nee O’Connell); son: Kevin Jr. (Lisa); daughter: Michelle (Terry) Young; grandchildren: Ashley and Paul Young and Brittany Power; brothers: Patrick (Shirley), Gerald (Belle), George (Eileen), James (Meta) and Brian (Paula); sister: Judy Barry; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Otto and Bridget Power; brother: Edward and brother-in-law: Munroe Barry. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 5th at 10:30 A.M. from Fillatre’s Chapel with interment to follow at Mt. Patricia cemetery. Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca
