It is with great sadness that the family of the late Claude White announce his passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Wednesday, September 5th, 2012 at the age of 85 years. Claude was born on March 14, 1927 on Caines Island, Rose Blanche. Son of the late Thomas and Violet White. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his sister: Annie Hardy, Port Aux Basques; nieces: Violet Clarke (Russell), Rita Currie, Mary Clarke and Loretta Hatcher, all of Rose Blanche; Joyce Wells (Fred), Burgeo; nephews: Bill Hatcher (Flossie), Gerald Hardy (Mary), Rose Blanche, and John Hardy (Yvonne), Port Aux Basques. Predeceased by his sister, Rita Blanche Hatcher; brothers-in-law: Robert Hatcher, John Hardy and nephew Clifford Hardy. Friends visit St. Michael’s Anglican Church, Rose Blanche on Wednesday and Thursday from where the funeral service was held on Saturday, September 8th at 11: A.M Reverend Gosse officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. The family guest book may be signed through our website www.fillatre.ca.
