It is with great sadness that the family of the late Donald Broomfield announce his passing on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at the Long Term Care Centre, Happy Valley … Goose Bay at the age of 73 years. He will be sadly missed by his brothers: Abe (Verna) and Sam (Betty) ; sister Margaret (Dale); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents William and Susan, brothers Tony, Willie and Batten, nephews Eddie and Donald. Friends may visit Fillatrès Funeral Home, Happy Valley … Goose Bay on Tuesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 17 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Happy Valley … Goose Bay. Interment to follow at the United Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the family. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
