It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mamie Coombs announce her passing on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s at the age of 63 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Angus, son Tony (Jennifer), sisters: Vivian (Steadman), Rowena (Cosmo), Elizabeth (Archibald), Bessie (Steward), Lavinia, Belinda (Steven) and Olga (Melvin), brothers: Lambert (Iris) and Israel (Kathleen); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Lambert and Eva Coombs. The family will be receiving friends from St. Margaret of Scotland Church in Reefs Harbour on Tuesday and Wednesday from where the funeral service will take place on Thursday, November 15 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. H. Harvey officiating, interment to follow at French Cove Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port au Choix.
