It is with sadness that the family of the late Owen Patrick Hickey announce his passing on Thursday, November 15th, 2012 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 60. He will be sadly missed by his 3 sisters Bridget & Loretta with whom he resided and Lucy Sheehan; 3 brothers: Myles (Susan), Antigonish, NS, Anthony (Crystal), Ontario, Ben (Pauline), Halifax, NS, as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends & coworkers at Barry Seafoods. He was predeceased by his parents Michael & Loretta Hickey, brother Peter and brother-in-law Ben Sheehan. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 19th at 10:30 a.m. from Our Lady Star of Sea Roman Catholic Church in Benoits Cove with Father Edmund Camacho officiating, followed by the interment at the Church Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home 218 Curling Street Saturday & Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. As expression of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to Our Lady Star of the Sea Cemetery Fund.
