Donald Fraser Goode Corner Brook, NL July 26, 1934 – May 31, 2018 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Donald Fraser Goode announce his passing on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 83 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Maude Goode; children: Colleen Burlet (Mike) and Donny Goode (Stacy); step-children: Daryl Wheeler (Lisa), Rod Wheeler (Debbie) and Jim Wheeler; grandchildren: Dean and Samantha Goode, Rory Burlet, Austin and Perry Hohn, David, Jonathan, Evan and Alexandra Wheeler; great-grandchildren: Theodore, Bowen, Frank and Levi; sisters: Edna Hunt (Bruce), Irene Simkew (Paul), Carie Green and Sadie Clark (Clyde); 1 brother Eugene Goode (Patra); sisters and brothers-in-law: Mervie Piercey, Leander Drodge, Stan Drodge (Joan), Edward Drodge (Kit), Bill Drodge (Doreen), Fred Drodge (Emmie), Alvin Drodge (Sharon), Rowena Mouland (Jack) and Patsy Parsons (Sam); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his first wife Shirley Goode, parents Edwin and Nellie Goode, brothers-in-law Frank Greene and Charlie Piercey. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Sunday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 4 at 2:00 p.m. from the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist with the Most Rev. Percy Coffin officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House.
