Vera Cora Hilliard (nee Dennis) Bonne Bay Pond, NL Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2013 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Vera Hilliard at the age of 59 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband: David Hilliard; son: Mark (Stephanie) Hilliard; daughter: Rhonda (Paul) Robson; grandchildren: Carson and Olivia Hilliard; Joshua and Kerstin Robson; mother: Elsie Dennis; sister: Evelyn Hann; brothers: Ronald (Marion) Dennis, Calvin (Lisa) Dennis; mother-in-law: Annie Hilliard; sisters-in-law: Dianne (Craig) Bugden, Linda (Scott) Payne and Kimberly (Curtis) Strickland; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father: James Dennis and father-in-law: William Hilliard. Cremation has taken place as requested by Vera. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 4th at 2:00 p.m. from Curling Memorial United Church in Curling with Reverend Sean Allan officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, donations may be made to Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation or to the charity of one’s choice.
