IVY HOUSE Bellburns, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ivy House announce her passing on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 97 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters: Barbara (Gerald), Daniel's Harbour, Gladys (Ralph), Parsons Pond and Edna (Leonard), River of Ponds; sons: Jacob, Cox's Cove and Hubert (Sadie), River of Ponds; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-gradchildren; brother Arch, residing at Seniors Home in Corner Brook; sisters: Alice (Douglas), Elsie and Edith (Henry); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Abraham, parents William and Elizabeth; daughter-in-law Ethel, brothers Howard and Eli and sister Fanney. The family will be receiving friends from St. Peter's Anglican Church in River of Ponds on Friday 7-9 p.m. and Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place from St. Aiden's Anglican Church in Bellburns on Sunday, January 6 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Paulette Bugden officiating. Interment to follow at Spudgels Cove Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port au Choix.
