Wilfred I. “Bill” Hann Corner Brook, NL 1918 – 2013 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bill Hann announce his passing on Wednesday, January 9th, 2013 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 94 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his wife of 70 years, Mary; children: Donald, Alan, Maureen, Mairi (Jim) Crocker and Moira (Mike) Moore; grandchildren: Steven, Marc, Weston and Coady Bennett, Adam and Christopher Crocker, Katrina Hann and Katie Moore; great grandchildren: Taylor and Paige Pechnik, Kate-Lynn Hann; sister-in-law: Marion Hann; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his sisters: Edith, Catherine, Mary, Doris, Dale and Elsie; brothers: Victor, Harold, Eric and Edwin; and parents: Martha and Chesley Hann. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Friday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 13th at 2:00 p.m. from the First United Church, Park Street with Reverend Harry Whitehorne officiating. The interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
