William Joseph Gilbert (Billy) St. Fintan’s, NL July 23, 1963 … January 13, 2013 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Billy Gilbert announce his passing on Sunday, January 13th, 2013 at the age of 49 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories; his mother: Louise Gilbert, St. Fintan’s; daughter: Krista, Halifax, NS; brothers: Malcolm (Lora), St. Fintan’s, David, Kitchener, ON, Stuart (Veronica), Noels’ Pond, Jerry, Heatherton, Dean, St. John’s and Troy, St. Fintan’s; sisters: Anne Stagg, Kitchener, ON, Madonna Gilbert, St. Fintan’s, Karen (Monty) Madore, Stephenville, Sheila (Graham) White, Stephenville and Beverly (Nick) Piccott, Robinson’s; Krista’s mom, Judy Halbot; Father and Mother-in-law: Michael and Annie Halbot; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his father, Malcolm Gilbert Sr.; niece; Holly Madore; and grandparents: Cyril and Phonsina Brake; King and Evelyn Gilbert. Visitation will begin on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. from St. Columcille Roman Catholic Church, St. Fintan’s from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 17th at 2:00 p.m. with Father Maurice O’Quinn officiating.
