CHRISTOPHER, Dorothy Rosie November 16, 1930 - January 29, 2013 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dorothy Christopher (nee Parsons) announce her passing on January 29, 2013, at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, at the age of 82 years. Leaving to mourn are her six children: Linda Tarbett; Marie (Bruce) Mitchell; Barbara (Lynn McDonald) of Ottawa, ON; Paul (Jocelyn); Ray (Theresa); John (Martha) of Wolfville, NS; 13 grand-children and 8 great-grand-children; sisters Ettie (Gerald) Stratton, Doreen Anderson and Mona Piercey; sisters-in-law Gwendolyn Parsons, Doris Parsons and Zita Lundrigan, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond Christopher (May 26, 2003), her parents Samuel and Julie (Barnes) Parsons; sisters Alice Verdie Harris, Mary Jane Parsons, Lillian and May; brothers Richard and Gilbert; and son-in-law Ed Tarbett. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling St, Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Church, Curling Street, Thursday, January 31st at 10:30 am, Father Edmund Camacho officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Sacred Heart Parish Memorial Fund or to the Palliative Care Unit of WMRH.
