Roderick (Bob) Charles White Benoits Cove, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rod/Bob White announce his passing on Friday, February 1st, 2013 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 60 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Brenda; three sons: Rod (Rebecca), Bermuda, Ken (Danielle), Grand Prairie, AB, and Jamie (Melissa), Massey Drive; six grandchildren: Jadyn Normore, Taylor, Jorgia, Logan, Keegan and Ava White; Father: Mr. William White; sisters: Sharon Barnes (Kevin) and Anastasia Parsons (Derek); brothers: Derrick Dormody (Ellen), Nick White (Linda) and Monty White (Tracy); sisters-in-law: Marilyn Bruce (Dave) and Nina Parsons (Jim); brother-in-law: Ken Hynes (Kay); long time business partners: Lloyd Bennett, Junior Jackson and Frank Stafford; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his mother, Ellen White, October, 2012; and mother and father-in-law: Dorothy and William Hynes. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Sunday and Monday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 5th at 10:30 A.M. from Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Benoit’s Cove with Monsignor Edwin Gale officiating. Cremation will follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made the Our Lady Star of the Sea Cemetery Fund.
