It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Shirley Margaret McCarthy (nee Connolly) announce her passing on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook, NL at the age of 63 years. Her memory will live on in all who knew and loved her especially her husband Pat; children: Patrick (Diana), Paul (Dianne), Travis (Amanda), Scott (Michelle), Megan (Adam); grandchildren: Sarah, Emma, Katie, Parker, Gracie, Ryder, Ally, Taylor, Cabella, Austin, Aiden; Brothers: Mickey, Danny, Patty, Ronnie, Teddy, Stevie, Gussie; Sisters: Theresa, Debbie and many extended family members and friends. She was pre-deceased by her parents Gordon & Phyllis Connolly. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home in Stephenville Crossing, NL on Tuesday June 12, 2018 between the hours of 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. To honor and respect Shirley’s wishes cremation will take place following the visitation at Humber Valley Crematorium in Pasadena, NL. The funeral service will take place at Assumption Parish, Stephenville Crossing, NL on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 10 a.m. with Father Edmund Dantes officiating. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
