CAROLINE LAVENIA (Venie) PITTMAN St. Paul’s, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Caroline (Venie) Pittman announce her passing on Friday, February 22nd, 2013 at Corner Brook Long Term Care Home at the age of 90 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Clayton , Corner Brook, Effie (Jesse), Winnipeg, MB, Mae (Ralph), Corner Brook, Richard, Pickering, ON, Jennette, Bramelea, ON, Nancy (Dave), Corner Brook, Austin (Jean), Corner Brook, Dean, Calgary, AB and Colin (Robin), Brampton, ON; sisters: Doylena Caines, Parson’s Pond and Emma Bishop, Orillia, ON; sister-in-law: Marie Bennett, St. Paul’s; 18 grandchildren; Boyd (Lori), Chris (Susan), Todd (Lori), Tina (Chris), Brenda (Jim), Gail (Gerald), Donna (Ron), Darryl, Tracey (Rob), Ross (Sherry), Brad (Terri), Beverley (Vennie), Shelley (Ryan), Crystal (Eugene), Matthew, Sarah, Andrew (Karen) and Alexander; 24 great grandchildren: Erica, Andrew, Corbin, Spencer, Mathias, Ashley, Adam, Maddison, Ciara, Tyannah, Tommy, Caylee, Madison, Brent, Emily, Julie, Joseph, Hannah, Shawan-Marie, Olivia, Courtney, R.J, Grady and Kenzi; and one great great grandchild: Brooke; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband: Campbell Pittman; parents: John and Gertrude Bennett; son-in-law: Carl White; daughters-in-law: Lila, Shirley and Elsie Pittmam; sister: Elsie Pittman; brothers: Sydney, Clyde and Lorne Bennett; sister-in-law: Mary Bennett; brothers-in-law: Norman Pittman, Fred Caines and Elias Bishop. Friends may visit St. Paul’s Anglican Church in St. Paul’s on Saturday evening and all day Sunday from where the funeral service will be held on Monday, February 25th at 2 P.M. with Reverend Jean Brenton Hickman officiating. The interment will follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
