Francis “Frank” Michael Curnell Sr. Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frank Curnell announce his sudden passing on Saturday, March 2nd, 2013 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 74 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife, Lena (nee Elford); daughter: Michelle; sons: Bill and Frank Jr.; grandchildren: Devin and Jacqueline; special niece: Mary Curnell; brother-in-law: Autley (Donna) Elford, Claude (Audrey) Elford, Lawrence Langer, Fred Jones; sisters-in-law: Doris Elford, Lorraine (Arthur) Goody and Lydia Elford; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: William and Mary Curnell and siblings: Agnes, Patricia, Geraldine, Ann, Theresa and Bernard. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling street on Sunday evening from 7-9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 5th at 10:30 a.m. from Fillatre’s Chapel on St. Marks Avenue with Father Edmund Camacho officiating. The interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the family or to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
