Obituary of John A. Gillam
It is with great sadness that the family of the late John A. Gillam announce his passing on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley-Goose Bay at the age of 72 years. He will be sadly missed by: his wife Marina; children: Dean, Debbie, Dwayne (Elizabeth), Dion (Myrna), Jamie Matthews, Jennifer Johnston (Robert), and Natasha (Thomas Hayden); 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by: parents Agustus & Lyda; brothers: Durelle and Percy; and sister Maisy. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will take place on Friday, March 15th at 2:00 PM from the Anglican Church, Goose Bay. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Lake Melville Shrine Club.
