NORBERT SHERLOCK LAVERS Port Saunders, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Norbert Lavers announce his passing on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 70 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Laverne; daughters: Paulette (Chris), and Sherri-Lee (Trent), Port Saunders; son Michael (Karla), Corner Brook; grandsons: Brock and Adam; sisters: Zeta (Brian), Cynthia (Shawn), Odella, Leona, Rachel (Spencer) and Doreen (Gordon); brothers: Pius (Nora), Ed (Phyllis), Mack (Mildred), Adelor (Nita), Herb and Alfred (Sue); sisters-in-law: Hilda and Meta; brother-in-law Lorraine (Kay); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Macvoy and Cora Jane Lavers, sisters Debbie, Selma and Helen, and mother-in-law Clara Lavers. The family will be receiving friends from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Port Saunders on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 24 at 2:00 p.m. with cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium.
