Gregory Joseph Collins Corner Brook, NL September 18, 1955 - April 20, 2013 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gregory Joseph Collins announce his passing on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 57 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Joanne (Crocker); sons: Joseph and Mark (Jessica Bennett); brothers and sisters: Gerry (Michelle Collins), New Westminster, BC, Danny (Diane Strang), Maple Ridge, BC, Mary Collins, Whitby, ON, Margaret Collins (Marc Lapointe), Moncton, NB, Barbara Collins (Paul Boucher), Toronto, ON, Michael (Phyllis McCrindle), Acton, ON and Tracey Collins, St. John’s; uncle Dermot Collins, Louisville, Kentucky; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Gerard and Margaret (Lynch) Collins, brother Gary Collins, parents-in-law Jacob and Theresa Crocker. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 24 at 10: 30 a.m. from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mount Bernard Avenue with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Bay of Islands SPCA or to Daffodil Place, St. John’s.
