VERA FROUD CORNER BROOK, NL August 4, 1939 … April 22, 2013 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Vera Froud announce her passing on Monday, April 22nd, 2013 at her residence at the age of 73 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son: Wayne (Dale) Froud and daughter: Jo-ann Froud, Corner Brook; Nanny’s girls: Leah and Emma Froud; sister: Betty Crocker (Freeman); brothers: Ed Dawe (Shirley), Butch Dawe (Anna) and Jerry Dawe (Sharon); sister-in-law: Sheila Froud; homecare worker: Leah Vaters; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Melvin (2011), son Richard (1973), parents: Frank and Eva Dawe; brother-in-law: Ben Froud and parents-in-law: Ben and Kate Froud. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling street on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 25th at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Clarence Street with Majors Raymond and Laura Janes officiating followed by the Interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca
