CORNER BROOK, NL Passed peacefully away at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Monday January 12, 2004 VERONICA JOYCE in her 93rd year. She leaves to mourn her daughter Helen Cook (lvor) of Curling; grandchildren: Sherri Lynn Boland (Johnny) of British Columbia, Tina Bishop (Gary) of Corner Brook; great grandchildren: Brandon, Janelle, Jesse, Luke and a large circle of nieces, nephews family and friends. Predeceased by her husband Bill in 1953. Special thanks to the VON workers, Dr. O'Driscoll and Gertie Skeard. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, January 14th at 2:00 p.m. from Sacred Heart Church, Curling Street Father Bernard Buckle officiating, followed by the interment at the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Curling. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street Tuesday from 2.4 & 7.9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON), Sacred Heart Church or a charity of ones choice.
