Sean Nicholas O’Neill Corner Brook, NL January 28, 1942 - May 13, 2013 With great sadness and heavy hearts the family of the late Sean Nicholas O’Neill announce his passing on Monday, May 13, 2013 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 71 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Lorraine (Rendell), son Sean Rendell, daughter-in-law Tami (Fisher), grandchildren Daniel Sean and Jack Bradley, sisters Mary Ryan, St. John’s, Marie Cadigan, St. John’s, Margaret Elliott, Corner Brook, Genevieve Cadigan, St. John’s, Elizabeth (Virgil) Hansen, Oscoda, Michigan, Sheila (Charles) Martyn, St. John’s, Regina (Frank) Murphy, Corner Brook, sisters-in-law Shirley O’Neill, Pasadena, Olive O’Brien, Laval Quest, Quebec, brother-in-law William Schwencer, Great Falls, Montana, a large circle of nieces and nephews, special nephew Garry Elliott, Corner Brook, special niece Claudette O’Brien, Charlottetown, PEI, best friends Derek & Marion Hicks, Corner Brook and Woody & Jackie Bussey, Corner Brook. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas & Winnifred O’Neill, brother Terrence O’Neill, parents-in-law Kenneth & Dorothy Rendell, brothers-in-law Albert Ryan, Paul Cadigan, James Elliott, Michael Cadigan and James O’Brien, sister-in-law Irene Schwencer. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 16 at 10:30 a.m. from All Hallows Parish with Monsignor Edwin Gale officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Bay of Islands SPCA or to a charity of one’s choice.
