Anna Marie Brake (nee Stamp) 1934-2013 Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Anna Marie Brake announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Sunday, May 26th, 2013 at the age of 78 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Eddie (Loretta), Corner Brook, Catherine Walters (Marshall), Edmonton, AB, Diane Brake, Robert (Ruth Ann), Tony (Paula) and John Jr.; all residing in Corner Brook; 9 grandchildren: Eddy, April, Michelle, Jason, Christopher, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Angela and Holly; five great grandchildren; sisters: Mary, Edna and Marg; brother: Jerome; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, John Michael Brake, May 1st, 2013; two grandchildren: Michael and Patrina: parents: Edward and Catherine Stamp; sisters: Carmel and Ethel, brothers: Mike, George and Larry. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Friends and family may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Wednesday from 7-9:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, donations may be made to the Lohnes Complex.
