It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jean Cassell announce her passing on Sunday, June 2nd, 2013 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 87 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her brother: Harold Bungay; sisters-in-law: Hilda, Madeline and Marion Bungay, Alma Jones; nieces: Rosalind, Phyllis, Darlene, Bernice, Lorraine, Leona, Cynthia and Crista; nephews: Frank, Eric, Leon, Stanley, Wade, Kevin, Scott and Ivan; as well as her extended family, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Chesley Cassell; parents: Mary and George Bungay ; sister: Beatrice Bungay and brothers: Samuel and Lester Bungay. Friends may visit St. Bartholomew Anglican Church in Jackson’s Arm on Wednesday from 2- 4 and 7-9:00 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 6th at 11:00 AM. Reverend Marlene Leggo officiating. The interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Deer Lake, NL.
