It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mina Doris Duffy announce her passing on Friday, September 21st, 2007 at the Paddon Home, HVGB, at the age of 82 years. She will be sadly missed by her children: Julie (Brian), Dave, Elsie, Hazel (Herman), Ron (Alma), Linda (Tony), George, (Pete) and grandchildren: Damon, Janice, Barbie, Christine, Fred, Matthew, Gary, Wade, George, Tom, Sherri-Lynn, Katie, Erin, Darren, Rhonda and Jamie, and her sister: Mildred Bird; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband John; parents: Richard and Elsie, her three brothers and one sister. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 24th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Andrews Anglican Church. Interment to follow at the Anglican cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Paddon Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay.
