It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edith “Viola” Hann (nee Taylor) announce her passing, at the age of 91 years, on Tuesday, August 9th, 2005, at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her 10 children: Gary (Gladys), Curling, Derek (Kathleen), Meadows, Loretta (Edward) Anderson, Meadows, Bertram Jr. (Frances), Meadows, Gloria (Monty) Brake, Corner Brook, Valda (Keith) Davis, Meadows, Keith (Kay), Pasadena, Kenneth (Linda), Summerside, Levina (George) Hiscock, St. John's, and Marilyn Hann (Keith Lovell), Ft. McMurray; 24 grandchildren: Arlene, Darren, Juanita, Rodney, Lisa, Lana, Eddie, Brent, Andy, Bruce, Charlotte, Stephen, Stephanie, Todd, Troy, Ronda, Bobby, Dennis, David, Crystal, Corey, Gordie, Chris and Blair; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husband Bertram Hann (1991); brother Heeman and sister Evelyn. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place from St. Paul's Anglican Church in Summerside on Friday, august 12th at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Arch Bishop Stuart Payne officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Western Memorial Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
