<p align="center">GERALD CLAUDE</p> <p align="center">PAYNE</p> <p align="center">Rocky Harbour, NL</p> <p align="center">March 3, 1933 – August 5, 2013</p> <p> </p> <p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gerald Claude Payne announce his passing on Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 80 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Gerald David (Glenda) Payne, Montague, PEI, Phoebe Pauline (Craig) McKenzie, Deer Lake, Marshall Geoffrey (Donna) Payne, Waterford, Ont. and Andrea Arlene Payne, Rocky Harbour; grandchildren: Gerry (Courtney), Candace, Tristan (Jennifer), Joshua (Melissa), James (Kim), Natasha (Ben), Melanie (Peter) and Marshall Gerald (Angela); great-grandchildren: Logan Parker, Dylan, Kaylee, Emily, Nathan, Cress, Jade, Sophie, Coby and Bella; sister Mary (Samuel) Godwin, Joe Batt’s Arm; brother Cecil (Geraldine) Payne, Fogo, Fogo Island; special puppy Ginger; special friend and brother Walter Walsh, Sally’s Cove; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Violet Lena Payne, June 22, 2007, parents Harvey and Olive Payne. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Friends may visit the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, West Link Road in Rocky Harbour on Wednesday from the hours of 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 8 at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Lloyd Diamond officiating. Interment to follow at the Neddies Harbour Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy flowers or donations to the Watchtower Society.
