<p><strong>Passed peacefully away on Monday, September 30, 2013 Sylvia G. Stansfield at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility in her 87<sup>th</sup> year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her niece Carolyn Maybee (Cheryl Butler), nephew Douglas Maybee (Susan), niece Claire Taylor (Tim); brother-in-law E. Roy Maybee; great nephews: Adam and Mark Taylor and Reed and Spencer Maybee; cousins Cecil, William and Lloyd March; special friend and caregiver Patricia Kennedy; precious puppy Bella who now lives with Sylvia and Don Thistle; as well as many friends and former co - worker at the Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Mill. She was predeceased by her parents Arthur R. in 1954 and Meredith A. "Geetha" in 1981 and only sister Elizabeth "Betty" Maybee in 2005 and cousin "brother" Rowland Robinson in 2013. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Friends may visit Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue on Thursday from the hours of 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4 at 11:00 a.m. from the First United Church, Park Street with Rev. Harry Whitehorne officiating. Interment to follow at the United Townsite Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the SPCA or the Shriners. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.</strong></p>
