Marjorie M. O’Neil (Nee Abbott) Port au Port, NL September 24, 1915 - October 2, 2007 It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Marjorie O’Neil announce her peaceful passing on Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007 at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre in Stephenville Crossing at the age of 92 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Michael, Corner Brook; grandsons: David (Lori), Toronto, ON, Michael Jr. (Tanya), Paul and Kenny, all of St. John’s; great-grand-daughter Molly; sister Maureen Moore, Knoxville, Tennessee; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Brendan O’Neil (1947); parents William and Rita Abbott (nee Burke); sister Mary Chesnut; brothers: Fintan, Albert and Jack. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium in Pasadena. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church in Port au Port West on Monday, October 15th at 2:00 p.m. Father Terry Boland officiating.
