CLAYTON J. BARNES Port Aux Basques, NL Age 74 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clayton J. Barnes announce his passing at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre on August 17th, 2005 at the age of 74 years. Leaving to mourn are his daughters: Barbie Lawrence (Vaughn) and their children, Julia and Sarah, Lower Sackville, NS, Diane Barnes and son Matthew, Lower Sackville, NS, Frances Barnes, Vancouver, BC, Elizabeth Lefresne (Marcel) and their children, Anthony (Danya) and Shilo, Fort McMurray, AB; sons: Peter (Sarah) and their children Alex and Kelsey, Elmsdale, NS, Pius (Joan) and their children Michael and Jason; brothers: Ran, Ernie, Dermoth and Herb; sisters: Barbara Askew and Melita Hynes; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was pre-deceased by his wife Dorothy (Augot) Barnes; parents: Frances (Wilcox) and James Barnes; sons: Anthony and Michael and sister, Elizabeth Perry. Visitation is held on Saturday, August 20th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, August 21st from 2-4 p.m. at Fillatre's Funeral Home, 134 Main Street, Port aux Basques. The funeral service will take place on Monday, August 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Upper Ferry, with Father Lee Lainey officiating. Interment to follow at Mount St. Thomas cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
