Alice Bridgette Doucette Deer Lake, NL April 10, 1914 - October 8, 2007 Passed peacefully away at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, on Monday, October 8th, 2007, Alice Bridgette Doucette in her 94th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: Sylvia Kennedy (Bill), Terry (Yvonne), Andre (Linda); grandchildren: Jennifer Kennedy-Whalen (Woody), Shane Kennedy, Michelle Toutant (Marc), John (Jennifer), John Hemeon (Michelle), Andrea, Michael (Lexi); great-grandchildren: Candace Collett, Jacob Goosney, Tristan and Sarah Doucette; sister: Doreen Butler (Al); brother: Jim McAllister (Judy); sisters-in-law: Annie McAllister and Margaret McAllister; special care giver: Marilyn Drover and life long friend Loretta (Sis) Pilgrim, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, whose visits and phone calls greatly enhanced her life,other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents James and Frances McAllister; husband: Victor; infant daughter: Mary, sisters: Sade Handrigan, Marie Chucoine, Veronica McAllister, Margaret McCarthy, Mary McAllister, Imelda (Mac) McAllister; brothers: Bill, Jack, Lawrence and Fred McAllister. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Tuesday, October 9th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 10th, at 11:00 A.M. from the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church with Father Aidan Devine officiating. Interment to follow at the Deer Lake interdenominational Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
