<p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Vera Forsey announce her passing at Western Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook on January 7, 2014 at the age of 86 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Lionel (Ruth) Forsey, Port aux Basques, Ruth (David) Wessell, Woodville, ON, Marilyn (Carl) Kippenhuck, Charlottetown, NL, special niece, Sylvia Crummey, St. John's, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, sisters: Sybina Meade, Richmond Hill, ON, and Lena Billard, Port aux Basques along with many other relatives and friends. She is pre-deceased by her husband, John Forsey (2002), brothers: Joseph, Norman and James, sisters: Gladys, Mary, Bessie Osmond, Lillian MacPherson, and Dorothy Figary. Friends visited Fillatre's Funeral Home, 134 Main Street, Port aux Basques, on Wednesday,&nbsp; from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday and Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service took place from Wesley United Church on Sunday, January 12 with interment following at the church cemetery.
