It is with great sadness that the family of the late Melsie Roberts announce her passing at the Long Term Care Unit in Forteau on Friday, September 28th, 2007 at the age of 98 years. Leaving to mourn with fond memories sons: William (Sophie), George (Jenista), Warren (Marie) and Harold; daughter Marie Hancock (Leonard); 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, and a large circle of other family and friends. She was predeceased by husband Maxwell Roberts, daughter Hazel and grand-daughter Lisa Hancock. Visitation took place at the Gospel Hall in English Point on Friday and Saturday, from where the funeral service took place on Sunday, September 30th at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Francis Barney and Mr. Doug Flynn officiating. Interment followed at the Church Cemetery in Forteau. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, L’Anse au Loup.
