<p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Amos Patey announce his passing on Friday November 29th,2013 at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 87 years.Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Maisie of 58 Years, Daughters Emma (Claude), Christine, Daisy (Francis), Sadie,and one son Derrek (Selma) 12 Grandchilren, 17 Great grandchildren, Sisters Mary Samson, Marie (Hebbert), Hepsey House, Evangeline Samson, Brothers Austin (Edith), Joseph (Serena), Lewis (Linda), and Sisters in law Bessie House, Bertha Patey, Marjorie Patey,Son in law Harvey Patey.He was predeceased by his daughter Faye, son Llewellyn,parents Henry and Susan Patey, brothers Henry Jr, Wilson, Garfield, Clary, and Peter. The family will be receiving friends from St.Peters Anglican Church in River of Ponds on Saturday evening and Sunday from where funeral service will be held on Monday at 2:00 Pm with Reverend Paulette Bugden officating ,interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery.
