ALLAN JAMES “SPUDS” MACDONALD Corner Brook, NL 							 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Allan James “Spuds” MacDonald announce his passing on Wednesday, October 10th, 2007 at his family residence at the age of 80 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Viola (nee Bradbury) of 55 years; 5 children: Joe (Joy) MacDonald, Deer Lake, Bob (Aggie) MacDonald, Ottawa, Kathy (Gerald) Hutchings, Corner Brook, Jeanette (Terry) Blake, Corner Brook and Bill MacDonald ( Lisa ), Corner Brook; 11 grandchildren: Jamie (Connie), Janesta-Jo, Kelly (Gerald), Jonathan, Angela, Stephen (Mandy), Michael, Jessica, Brandon, Mark and Kristopher , 4 great-grandchildren: Destiny, Melissa, Ashton and Jared, special sister and brother-in-law Ann and Max Hale. Together with a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 13th at 2:00 PM from the Salvation Army Temple, O’Connell Drive with Majors Ron and Joyce Stuckless officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Salvation Army Temple.
