MAYO MARGARET HENRY (nee Fisher) Corner Brook, NL 1910 - 2005 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Mayo announce her passing on Tuesday, August 30th, 2005 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 95 . Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: daughter: Janet Hoke, Cambridge, ON,; sons: Lionel, Cambridge, ON and John, Corner Brook; grandchildren: John Mayo Jr. (Karen), Corner Brook, Kim Moore (Robert), Cambridge, ON, and James Hoke, London, ON; great grandchildren: Michelle and Stephen Moore, Cambridge, ON; sisters-in-law: Lillian Fisher, Mona Fisher, Corner Brook; brother-in-law: George Dominic, Toronto, ON, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband James R. Mayo (1982), parents: Josiah and Janet Fisher; sisters: Mary, Bette, Pat, Edith, Ena, Grace and Jean; brothers: Alex, Ian and William; and daughter-in-law: Alice Mayo (2004). Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Thursday and Friday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 3rd, at 2:00 p.m. from The First United Church, Park Street. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the First United Church Restoration Fund, the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation or to the charity of ones choice.
