Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: his wife Joan of 60 years; children: Helen deRuyter (Frank), Paulette Darcy, Anita Barnes (Howard), Jerry (Rose), James Jr. (Maryette), Maria Grant (James), Carolyn Sheppard, Connie Sheppard (Ken Book) and Roger Sheppard (Joanne); grandchildren: Natasha, Nikki (Jon), Robert, Samantha (Cory), Ryan, Jason (Charmaine), Heidi, Vicki (James), Sarah, Marcus, Cheryl, Douglas, Jillian, Nadia (Mark), Jonathon, Zachary and Randy; great grandchildren: Jessie, Sophia, Simon, Madison and Colby; special Niece Joanne Sigouin, brother Isaac Sheppard (Doris); sisters-in-law: Myrtle Sheppard and Etta Caulfield (Fred), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Isaac and Phoebe Sheppard, brothers Cyril, Ron, Clayton and Ross; Sisters Olive, Jean and Susie. Friends may visit St. James Anglican Church in Lark Harbour on Saturday and Sunday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m.  From where the funeral service will be held on Monday, January 6<sup>th</sup> at 2:00 p.m.  with interment to follow at the church cemetery.
