JULIA MELISSA FARRELL Port Aux Basques, NL 						 Passed away peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Dr. Charles L. Legrow Health Centre, Port Aux Basques on Wednesday, October 10th, 2007, Julia Melissa Farrell at the age of 83 years. She was born at Channel, NL and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Hardy) Lawrence. She was predeceased by mother and father-in-law Arthur and Sarah Farrell, brother James Lawrence, sisters Classie Mercer and Violet Johnsen, granddaughter Nicole Melissa Farrell, sisters-in-law Myrtle Lawrence, Allie Lawrence, Leona Lawrence and Milida Bragg, brothers-in-law Richard Mercer, Merle Yarn, Jack Northridge, Lou Stegg, Alfred Johansen, Thomas Farrell, Albert Farrell, Russell Farrell and Bradley Farrell. She leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories her loving husband John of 62 years and caring family, Marilyn (Tony) Cancellara, Toronto, John (Cora) Farrell, Port Aux Basques, Shirley Farrell, Port Aux Basques, Joe Farrell (Judy), St. John’s, Julia Brown, Port Aux Basques and Arthur (Valerie) Farrell, Victoria, BC, grandchildren: John Anthony, Denise (Kevin), Jackie (Peter), Michael, Daniel, Jason and Shawn, great-grandchildren: Shelby, Ethan and Carter, sisters Lillian Stegg, San Diego, California, Shirley Yarn, Corner Brook and Clarinda Northridge, Hurst, Texas, brothers: Reginald Lawrence, Darthmouth, NS, Joseph (Eva) Lawrence, St. Anthony and Fred Lawrence (Catherine), Truro, NS, sister-in-law Rita Dean, Sydney, NS. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Aux Basques on Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 13th at 2:00 PM from St. James’ Anglican Church, Port Aux Basques with Rev. Hugh Fudge officiating.
