<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Janes announce his passing on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 76 years. &nbsp;He leaves to mourn with fond and loving his wife Elaine (Goodyear); 2 sons: Fred (Cindy) and Stephen (Dode); 3 grandchildren: Vicki, Valari (Adam) and Parker; brothers: Harold (Ruth) and Adolphus (Susie); sisters: Emma Sheppard, Mary Reid (Harry) and Glenda Tilley (Terry); brothers-in-law: George Gordon (Emily), Roy Saunders, Gerald Locke (Paulette), Majors Ron Goodyear (Maisie) and Merrill Goodyear (Mona); sisters-in-law: Yvonne Janes and Bette Goodyear; special niece Sandra Dower (Dan); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Eva Janes, brother Roy, sisters Flora, Effie, Lurley, Shirley, Nellie and Baby Barbara Jean, brother-in-law William Sheppard, parents-in-law George and Jean Goodyear. Friends may visit Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel with Majors Wayne and Betty Ann Pike officiating. Interment to follow at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel.
