GEORGE’S, NL</p> <p>FEBRUARY 9, 1953 – FEBRUARY 6, 2014</p> <p> </p> <p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Brian Allan Swyers announce his passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at the age of 61 years.  Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children:  Brendan (Joanne) Cook, Amanda (Shawn) Roberts, Keith Cook, Jason (Stephanie) Cook;  grandchildren:  Kyle Cook, Christian Cook; sisters:  Lorraine Barry, Joanne (Eugene) Young, Debbie (Freddie) Morris, Marjorie (Jim) Green; brothers:  Neil (Freda) Swyers, Bendan Swyers, Gerald (Alice) Swyers as well as a large number of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.  He was pre-deceased by his parents Richard & Sarah Swyers and brother Calvin.  Visitation will take place from St. Joseph’s Parish, St. George’s on Saturday & Sunday from   2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m.  from where the funeral mass will take place on Monday, February 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Edmund Camacho Officiating.    As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of ones’ choice.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.</p>
